Michael Jordan: Ultimate Artistry; Last Dance Tribute Mix
Переглядів 68 тис.4 роки тому
This channel exists because in 1982, I first watched Michael Jordan and immediately knew he was the GOAT, and so I recorded all his games from thereon. I made these three Michael Jordan Artistry mixes 14 years ago for this channel which I started in 2006 just when UA-cam was born, and because of The Last Dance documentary, I'm coming out of retirement and re-uploading them in one long video, al...
Michael Jordan and Lebron James: The Complete Statistical Guide with Stunning Conclusion
Переглядів 11 тис.5 років тому
This is the most complete and definitive statistical reference to any comparison between Michael Jordan and LeBron James. Does Jordan dominate LeBron just as he does to everyone else when all the numbers and records are compared? The conclusion may amaze. *There is a typo at the 7:00 mark in "Top 31 Significant Stats"; Category 26, Line 23. It should read MJ 5,633 assists to LBJ 8,577. The tota...
Michael Jordan 1996 Playoffs: Crippled Bad Back Gm 3 Vs. Heat
Переглядів 3,9 тис.5 років тому
I don't have all the fancy equipment of today's UA-camrs but I'll keep uploading when I get the urge (sadly my equipment did go down recently which has delayed my upcoming projects). My past edit of this game was taken down by UA-cam due to it being inside a Jay Leno interview so I'm re-editing it here. It's not the rarest game but here's my version of it. My goal is to communicate the electric...
Michael Jordan 1993: 42pts vs. Robinson's Spurs
Переглядів 104 тис.12 років тому
Please visit Hoops' new blog. New vids coming in 2013 with new blog posts with MJ turning 50. I will be back from my long vacation. hoopsencyclopedia.wordpress.com Oh yeah, I love MJ vs. the Real Bigs - especially considering these days where the center has become extinct. We have quasi centers in Dwight (undersized and underskilled), Bynum (good size but limited in power and physicality), and ...
Michael Jordan 1993: 36pts on Bum Ankle vs. Rookie Shaq & Orlando Magic
Переглядів 85 тис.13 років тому
With a near broken ankle from the last game and rookie Shaq clogging the lanes, MJ just resorted to his midrange mastery for yet another normal day at the office. A few easy jumpers didn't drop for a stretch which ruined his FG down to 45% here. But, the point is, MJ had already perfected the turnaround fade for a long time to get his 35 even if you took away his legs.
Michael Jordan 2003: 40yrs & 30pts vs. Dirk's Mavericks
Переглядів 145 тис.13 років тому
At Hoopsencyclopedia, there is no lockout. So the march goes on. To honor this year's champs, here's Yoda Mike taking it to future legend and 2011 Champion Dirk and his Dallas Mavericks with Nash, Finley and Bell at his side. Just days after shattering the record at age 40 with 43pts, MJ followed it up here with 30pts while being the best player on both ends of the floor. You can marvel at all ...
Michael Jordan 1989 Playoffs: 32pts, Gm 6 vs. Detroit Pistons
Переглядів 63 тис.13 років тому
As the world currently ululates against Lebron James' recent shortcomings in the 2011 NBA Finals, it is just another reminder of how truly impenetrable the sanctity of Michael Jordan's legacy is. Thanks to Scottie Pippen's mentioning of Lebron in the same sentence as MJ just before the Finals, it served as a harbinger of things to come when anyone is compared to MJ; that is - the laughable absu...
Michael Jordan 1987: 45pts vs. Utah Jazz (Full Re-edit)

Michael Jordan 1990: 45pts vs. Charlotte Hornets
Переглядів 53 тис.13 років тому
The inside game, the outside game, the max athleticism, the max skill and finesse. MJ in his physical prime - nothing comes close. So effortless. The ball and court are mere extensions of his body.
Michael Jordan 1988: 39pts, "Leaner Dunk Game" vs. Sonics
Переглядів 58 тис.13 років тому
These very rare off-shooting nights were my favorite nights during this young-MJ era; the reason being that I didn't want MJ shooting jumpers back then - I wanted to see hang-time, triple-clutch, one-handed drives with the nonpareil body control and finesse. I wanted to see him rely on his singular athleticism because chances were greater that something spectacular was going to happen. And just...
Michael Jordan 2003: Age 40 (33pts) vs. Pau Gasol (ROY) & Grizzlies
Переглядів 153 тис.13 років тому
QUICK TRIVIA: Who was the last legit 7-foot Rookie of the Year before Pau Gasol won it in 2002? ANSWER: Shaq, 1992 (Tim Duncan 1998 ROY is 6-11). So it's not surprising that both Shaq and Pau have become the best big men of their respective eras approximately 10 years apart. And they hold true the notion that Great Big Man anchored teams always win (with the exception of MJ of course). While Pa...
Michael Jordan 1989: 38pts, Triple Double vs. Denver Nuggets

A typical all around spectacle that was Michael Jordan in the late 80s.
Michael Jordan 2003: Age 40, Abuses Ron Artest & Pacers
Переглядів 3,5 млн14 років тому
Cunning, smooth and crafty. MJ's game was still chess versus everyone's checkers. Ron Artest went 1-9 for 8 points (with 3 rebounds and 1 assist).
Brooo ,how was there ever a debate, its not even close, goat of goats
Captain Marvel 😂
0:41 I was sure It was going to be a finger roll, and the way he ended up dunking it. Insane!
MJ couldn't even control his own bounce yet in 84, with that full court dunk, he lept from about 10ft and still almost cracked his head on the glass.
The greatest layup package ever... Kyrie Irving isn't even close.
Hoops I don't think you're around anymore but this is one of the games from Haberstroh's article (hit piece). I noted one steal (in terms of collecting the deflection by Sam Vincent) and I confirmed MJ's block around the 3:25ish mark. Michael does deflect a pass late in this video that was not fully secured so I don't think it was credited to anyone but if you had all 5 steals he was credited with, we can sink the article.
This is the 86-87 season in November 86. I looked it up on pro basketball reference and confirmed that Jordan had the one block he was credited with. I was lucky but I don't know that I'll locate the steals (they may not have been included in the highlights.)
Recenty realized that Hakeem Olajuwan was really really good
Michael Jordan got the last laugh vs Hakeem's Rockets.
He single-handedly carry them to the playoffs his first two years and he had no help but a bunch of drug addict bums and people want to try to discredit him because he was beaten by the bucks and the Celtics both teams had multiple All-Stars and he was the whole damn bulls team
I hadn't heard him called Captain marvel since back then😂
They wasn't ready for the best dunk ever
This was considered one of MJ's "weaker" games in that 86-87 Season. Try and wrap your head around that
This is why he built a gym in his house. All the little nuances in his jumper, amazing!
After that final circus shot, the Bulls bench was 💀
Jeut as his Status says : THE BEST THERE EVERY WAS , AND THE BEST THERE EVERY BE !
R.I.P. Bill Walton
58 points with 11:11 to go in the 4th quarter, and ppl still use stats with a straight face as if career injuries, career playing time, league rules, team philosophy, pace of play for the era as a whole don't play a role in stats that have nothing to do with how good a guy was at the game of basketball
Shaw was a bum
Wait till Edwards gets this speed
Dennis: 4 pts, 19 rbs.
My forever 🐐
3:51 is like a glitch in the matrix. Ive never seen anyone do that so smoothly, one handed catch transition to a jumper.....
Worthy also in the game, as is Matt Daugherty (one of the two coaches who was part of the transition between Dean Smith and Roy Williams--I can't remember the other coach who was in between).
Mj.prime. in nba joke era will destroy everyone the real and.only.goat
This is why this man is the goat. You had to have seen him do it to know that this man is the goat. I'm telling you not no clips not just some somebody putting up on their page that they made no to actually witness. Them games on live TV man was incredible. That's why y'all cannot turn us from who the greatest of all times is we know
This is why there will be no one better than him ever easily. He went out here and done this easily. Lord have mercy if this was a young Michael Jordan Jesus
Awesome! Awesome! Awesome!!!
Awesome! Thank you so much for this great video.
It was a fans, dream come true. Being a Jordan fan through my adolescence and teens. Followed him through college and never looked away, got WGN for bulls games...So awesome to witness a great career, thank you MJ. And thanks for the post!!
It's May 2024 and I was watching the TWolves sweeping the Suns. Anthony Edwards is getting hyped as the new Michael Jordan. So I came back to watch the original. Been an NBA fan since 1991 and it's never too tiresome to watch MJ highlights.
2:18 The most beautiful, skilled jump shot in history. Right there.
by far the best player on the floor from the first week
The greatest to touch a basketball. The greatest to ever lace em up. Idc what anybody says good lord. USE YOUR EYES BOYZ AND GIRLS
Damn this is a wild
Damn be Played like ass this game but still stole the game what an animal
I love the lyrics of the song being played for the last few minutes of this video: "Don't think about all those things you fear, just be glad to be here." They pretty much sum up MJ's career in regards to his so called competition.
EL JORDAN LOS HACIA VER COMO UNOS PENDEJOS A LOS NICKEROBOCKERS
He ended the game with beautifully ✨💯...
2:07 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 wtf is that guy doing? DET 90s DEFENSE
0:58 that clown isn’t even jumping! WE DONE WITH THE 90s

I hope before he dies scientists invent a regenerative medicine that turn the clock back to when MJ was 30 and we get to see a few more years of greatness again
Greatest Ever!!! Not even close if you ask me... He just was something else...4 real
Larry Bird and Luca Doncic do have similar tendencies about their games. The more I see Bird I realize this. MJ obviously just the GOAT. A complete animal.
I hate how they are trying to make sure ppl FORGET he still played like this. BC, they need to give Bron as much juice as possible bc it's good for media, lol. They won't pull these tapes though 😂😂
"Boy, you like this guy when the pressures on..." Prophetic words right there
